Who We Are
Back the Blue Boise is an independent 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Our board is made up of local business and community leaders focused on one clear goal: closing critical funding gaps for the Boise Police Department (BPD)
What We Do
We raise private funds to provide the Boise Police Department with essential capital items and programs that public budgets cannot fully cover. This includes:
>Advanced personal protective equipment (PPE)
>Specialized operational equipment
>Programs that improve officer safety, training and readiness
These investments help officers protect the community more effectively and return home safely at the end of every shift.
Why it Matters
When officers have the right tools and support, the entire community benefits-through stronger public safety, greater operational readiness, and deeper trust between police and the people they serve.
